A small Sydney team obsessed with the perfect run
TurboHeroJourney began in a shared workspace on Foveaux Street in 2021, when five friends decided mobile action games deserved tighter controls and fairer economies. We build every realm by hand, test on real mid-range Android phones, and ship an update every three weeks. No loot boxes, no energy timers — just a game we love to play on the commute home.

Yes, the full game is free to download and play on the Google Play Store. There are optional cosmetic packs from A$3.99, but every realm, hero, and upgrade is earnable through normal play. There are no energy timers or pay-to-win boosts.
The game runs on Android 9.0 and above, and is tuned for smooth 60fps play on mid-range phones from the last four years. The download is around 180 MB, with an extra 120 MB of realm assets streamed on first launch.
You can play the campaign and practice runs fully offline. An internet connection is only needed to sync your leaderboard scores, join the Monday realm challenges, and download new content updates.
Not yet. We are a five-person studio focused on getting the Android experience right first. An iOS version is on our roadmap for late next year — join the newsletter through the contact form to hear when it lands.
We ship a content or balance update roughly every three weeks. Larger realm expansions arrive two to three times a year. Every update is free, and we post detailed patch notes so you always know what changed.
